A little bit About our Rector:

The Rev. Conor Alexander OA was born and raised in Upstate New York, just outside of Syracuse. He attended Cornell University, earning a degree in Biological Engineering and spent three years doing product development for Brisol-Myers Squibb before entering seminary.
While visiting Virginia Theological Seminary, he met The Rev. Samantha Vincent-Alexander, also an ordained priest. They were married on May 20th, 2006. They have a dog named Chance and a son named Joshua.
In his spare time, Fr. Conor likes to exercise, play music (guitar mostly) or spend time with Samantha, Joshua, and Chance. His passions for ministry involve doing what it takes to make our faith more and more relevant to our daily lives.

St Francis Church is a Parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia.  Our mission is to worship, love, and serve Our Lord Jesus Christ through the fullness of the Anglican Tradition. We are a congregation which embraces and celebrates its diversity while at the same time recognizing we are all one in Christ. "The Beloved Community" is indeed the word that best describes our congregation. We are ready to embrace all people who come through our doors and to offer them the unconditional love and acceptance of God through Jesus Christ.
